Matt and Meghan in the rain. What has to be one of my favorite shoots of the year photographing in the rain has been always been on my bucket lists (still waiting on the proposal, ceremony and reception on the same day…I will shoot this for free). I remember the drive down to Burlington and looking at the skies just hoping it would hold up for a few hours. Funny enough that the minute I arrive and get out of my car it starts to drizzle. I still am excited to hang out with such great company and fulfill a weird dream of mine to photograph people who are in love in the rain. The engagement shoot was photographed on a family prairie which is astonishing beautiful. Filled with dozens if not hundreds of aged oak trees and wild animal it was quite the scenic adventure. It really did suite Matt and Meghan’s personality who both loved the outdoors, their dogs, and beer. Both of them are so easy going and down to earth.
