Lost and Found. Photographed this wedding back in July. I’ve been wanting to publish this wedding for a while but just got lost. If you know me than you know that one of my all time favorite moment and shots are of the bride and groom walking down the aisle hand in hand after giving their vows and kiss. Tom and Brittany’s walk has to be one of my favorite shots. It looks so simple with smiles and cheers and yet tells so much within the picture. In their heads they’re just trying not to trip but to me it’s a whole lot more. Maybe I’m just weird but I have so many interpretations with it. It’s the family and friends applauding of approval, the many stressful months of planning a wedding coming towards a conclusion, the beginning of a life and the start of a party. It is just so timeless and great reminder of youth, love and happiness captured within that frame. It gets me excited to imagine how many conversations will start with that picture of “Wow, look at pretty mom and dad look on their wedding day” or “wow, they were so fit or had so much hair” or even how many grand kids will be able to see these pictures. That’s just ridiculously awesome.
